I have been immeasurably busy – uni has started back up and both J and I have been working on the house a little, building flat pack furniture, putting up shelves, working on the garden… We’re still no where close to complete but ultimately we’ll get there. My ME/FM has been getting the better of me most days, too, but I’m still trucking along. But here’s a little snippet of what I’ve finished lately. There’s plenty more where these came from! A Pogona and an Estonian Lace Stole.

Daybreak
Almost two months ago, I made my best friend a Daybreak. She is currently in China on an exchange program, and I was thinking of mailing it off to her. However, I’m not entirely sure if I trust the postal system, and I really don’t know how to address the parcel, so it sits here with me at home until I decide if I should hold on to it and wait until I visit Singapore, where it can sit with her family for her to get back, or if I should bite the bullet and mail it off.
A couple of shawls
I’ve been busy – the last teaching week of uni has come and gone, and currently we’re in crunch time – studying for exams (I have none this semester, thank goodness!), and submitting our last assignments. In the meantime, I have finished a handful of shawls, and I will be sharing them in the next few weeks as I endeavour to update more often.
I was asked to knit a couple of items for a friend, Anna, and these are them. A Bakersfield shawlette knit with Sundara Sock yarn, and a Clapotis knit with some mystery-to-me sock yarn.
